Hello there,

I’m writing you regarding my Volkswagen New Beetle. My asking price is $ 2990.It is a 2004 model loaded with everything and currently has 55,000 miles. The car is very well maintained, it has just been completely serviced, the engine runs very good and the automatic transmission shifts perfectly. I’m selling the car because I don’t have time to enjoy it due to my job (I work as a casino dealer on a cruise ship) plus that I have some financial problems and I need money asap. I have to tell you that I’m currently at work and I left the car in Great Falls, MT at the shipping company ready to be shipped anywhere. If you decide to purchase it you will receive all the documents of the car, owner’s manuals, clear title, bill of sale and also 2 keys. Regarding the payment, I will use only Google Checkout program. If you are interested this is how it works:

1. You send me your full name, complete address (I need for shipping) and your phone number.
2. I open a transaction with Google Checkout.
3. Google Checkout will contact you with an invoice regarding our transaction.
4 You will send the payment to Google Checkout and they will notify me to ship the vehicle to your location.
5. After you will inspect/drive the vehicle and decide to keep it, Google Checkout will forward me the funds and the deal is done.

Basically Google Checkout will secure the funds until you receive and inspect the car. You will have 5 days inspection period. If the vehicle is not like described, it will be shipped back on my expense and they will give you a full refund. This way you will be able to inspect the vehicle before committing to buy it and I know that you have the money and you are not just fooling around. I will wait your reply.

Google checkout is quick and easy, which is a plus for any site.

I contacted my bank and they told that I had put the wrong billing address ( I wrote my living address there), they said I should have put an address that is imprinted on my credit card.

The checkout asked for government-issued identification and for bank statement about credit card to verify the billing address. But the problem is that the statement my bank provides does not include the billing address. it simply states the debits and credits to the account and period etc. So there was no sense in sending the statement…

Eventually I uploaded my passport info page and the credit card image (althoug the page stated they don’t need a credit card image), the image shows only the last 4 digits of the card ( so I am secured with that) and part where the billing address is printed .

After I sent the information the next page stated that it would take google 4 business days to review the case. But I have not received a auto reply email or anything like that confirming that they received the files I sent… Is that OK? Has anyone been in this kind of situation? This is my first purchase with google so I am rather confused.

Some billing addresses for Credit Cards are Very specific. Look at the actual addres that your bank uses to mail your statement to you, that is the exact address that Google wants.
For instance
1234 5th Ave North
1234 5 Avenue N
1234 5th Ave N
etc…
to some services those are ALL different addresses, and only the one that is exactly like the address that your Credit Card/ Bank uses to mail you the bill is the one that will work.

You may need to type in the EXACT periods, punctuation, capitals and abrivations, etc. , exactly as the bank does.

That bottom number is this dudes phone number. I called it but the guy speaks indonesian and I don’t speak that language. I am in America so this guy is trying to hack my account. No purchases were made and i changed my password.

What can I do to find out more information about this situation.

Well to agree with you guys more. At the same time my eBay paypal and amazon accounts were all broken into somehow. But the puzzling aspect is that I am on a mac so a keylogger is rare. I recently got a new computer and changed my passwords so I think I am good now

Honestly, nothing will come of it.

Submit a complaint/report to google about it and let them deal with it.

Google checkout now charges 1.5% plus a small fixed fee per transaction.
It is cheaper than Paypal, but you do need to go through some hoops to get your money, which can take a while.

May be its because of your sign in settings. Go to google accounts and select multiple sign in option and select yes. but please do not hate me if this didn’t work
