Question by lalalaaaaa: what kind of laptop is best for me?
i’m 12 year olds, almost 13 and i’m homeschooled on florida virtual academy.
i have a dell 2005 computer and it still runs great and fast, but we are going to be moving into a huge house soon, but before that i need a laptop for traveling and stuff to do my schoolwork.
it has to have a good battery because my schoolwork takes quite a while everyday, plus i like to go on myspace,aim, and play a few games here and there. i wanted to know what laptop would be good for me? i don’t really care about a price or anything but i want links maybe. thank you

This is a nice small laptop light and great for travelling. It comes as either the mini 9 or mini 12 with the number regarding the screen size

The inspiron range are the general dell laptop. Its got good battery and nice weight etc but over time are a little unreliable

This is a ACER laptop which ive used before. Its a nice laptop and has about a 3 hour battery life.

I kept getting an email for FREECREDITREPORT.COM over and over again. I went online to get my credit report, as well as my son’s. Although I just wanted the score, somehow I was billed two charges of $ 24.99 for each of us and to boot before the so called 7 day trial period ended. Beware of this scam. Nothing is FREE and you can’t get a refund either. All you can do is deny any further contact. Anyone want to comment on this scam ?

I also have an account with freecreditreport.com The trick is you have to call them before the free time expires to cancel the account and not get any other charges. As far as them collecting payment im not too sure about that one. One idea is that you requested another service they offer. they have a few different services they offer at a price maybe you unknowingly requested one of these services?

To login,You need windows me/xp/vista/workgroups etc.If you have an error a error could say “Username Cannot be requried please try at hour.Or “You can’t login becuase you have a warning”Or something at that.

The easiest and less costly way for you to do it is to have the applicant go to the local sheriff’s office & have one run. Have them bring it to you for your review.

I’m 24, and I’ve avoided getting a credit card for my entire life because my dad hammered into me ever since I was in elementary school that, “CREDIT CARDS ARE EVIL!” But he really did me a disservice in that I have no credit now. Up to 5% in gas or 2% in everything else.
Go to bankrate.com
Last year I made at least $ 500.00

These cards carry a high interest.
But if you pay in full each month, you will never pay their APR.
Besides carrying balances and paying interest destroys your credit scores.

Please note:
I have never in my life paid APR
After only 2 years of using 2 cards (one for food, and one for gas), and paying them in full each month, I ended up with 800+ scores
Don’t get trapped into paying interest and making banks rich for no reason….

why is k12 so much harder than regular high school?

For instance, in regular high school you have four classes, but in k12 high school you have just as many classes you did in 8th grade with k12, which is like six classes. Also you have dumb classes like vocabulary, and i’m pretty sure you don’t have vocabulary in regular high school. can anybody tell me why it’s so much harder?

Any college degree is better than not having one at all…

A business degree in particular is one of the best degrees you can get because “business” is in every form of career..

An associates degree will teach you the basic of business….Which will help you have the “edge” over non degree people…
