Is Kaplan University Online accredited in Nevada?

Question by ({Twiztid girl}): Is Kaplan University Online accredited in Nevada?
I live in Nevada and have been looking at going to Kaplan Online University. I am wondering what its accreditaions are (regional or national, etc.) and where do I find this info? Also is it a good choice, if not what would be a better choice?

Kaplan is regionally accredited (the highest level for an institution) You can check if a college is legitimate here:

What are you going to school for? That will be a big factor. Some large state schools such as Penn State have nice online programs.
